He explains that as important as it is, this does not negate our own personal mission statements.

He further states that the healthier the local church is, then the more effective the church will be in the community. And also how this causes the church to breath out the reviving life of Jesus to all around it.

Co-missioning Together

Hear Pastor Stephen Dodge talk about how we as the church are all on a mission together. He explains, using his own background as an example, how the mission begins in our own homes.

Using the story of Ruth, and the verses from Matthew 11: 28 – 30 Stephen shows that each of us has a grace and a calling from God which we are designed for. The Lord gives us this grace and subsequent anointing which is not ill fitting but rather allows us to work together with others to fulfil the mission.

 

The Rivers of the Holy Spirit

In this exciting message, Pastor Dave Wallace teaches about Jesus’s promise that each of us can experience rivers of living water flowing through and out of our lives.

Using John 7, Dave explains that ‘rivers’ (plural) means the multidimensional manifestation of the Holy Spirit which enables God's people to engage in mission.

This power from above equips each of us to engage in ministry firstly towards God, secondly to His people (the church) and lastly into the world.

Hear Dave also explain how the five fold ministries, mentioned in the book of Ephesians, have been given to equip and motivate each of us to do the mission work that we are each called to do.

 

The purpose of Pentecost is mission!

In this vital and very relevant message, hear Pastor Dave Wallace explain how the baptism or immersion in the Holy Spirit turns people who are struggling, who are fearful and who are disconnected into powerful, world-changing, motivated, miracle-working missionaries.

Using Acts 1:8 he shows how you and I will receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon us.

Finding what your personal mission is

Narelle Wallace compares your vision, as being what you see in the future, with your mission which is your life purpose. Mission is what you get up every day to go and do.

Narelle believes that God often reveals your mission through your strengths and interests. Those  things which you are passionate about and which you may discover in your childhood or youth.

This message will encourage you to pray and seek God about what your own personal mission is!

Also hear how having a mission brings hope to your life.

Narelle  also tells the story of Esther and for how being born for “such a time as this” applies to your life’s mission.

Loving Well

In this session, Narelle Wallace speaks on the reality that our mission as the church is to love others well.

She uses the illustration of an iceberg to discuss how there can be a lot hidden below “the surface” of our lives that affects how we love our neighbor, who is anyone in close proximity to us.

Narelle further discusses the 3 types of parent as outlined in the Parent Toolbox, and compares each of these with God’s “shepherd model” of parenting.

It is time for the church to arise into a new season in God

In this session. Pastor David Wallace asks the question regarding what does the new season look like?

Using the book of Song of Solomon, he outlines 3 aspects in answer to this:

1. A beauty will return to the household of God.
2. There will be a new move of the Holy Spirit.
3. There will be early fruit / early harvest in the new seson.

He also encourages the church to arise and move into the new season  of God.

3 key components of entering into a new season in God

When moving into a new season. Pastor George Ryan uses the story in John 21  of the disciples going fishing. to discuss the importance of firstly not being overwhelmed to the point of despair if unsettling stuff happens, secondly, obedience to the voice of Jesus and lastly, embracing / working with the miraculous.
